DocHawk Gold is a patent-pending service tailored especially for the BlackBerry that enables full-image viewing of PowerPoint, Word, RTF, TIFF, BMP, JPEG, PNG and GIF files.
Once you subscribe, all you have to do is forward an e-mail with its attachment, and usually within a minute or two, you will receive your message back, but with an embedded link. Click the link and you see your attachment the way it was meant to be seen.
- A great way to save image and document attachments into your BlackBerry's picture folder, such as a PowerPoint slide
- Makes your PointPoint slides shine graphically (minus animation) and not merely as a tree of text
- No installation is required, as our servers do all of the work
- With our gliding zoom feature, you can finally scroll around the image or document at whatever available zoom level you would like, without having to revert to a squinted view each time you wish to scroll, meaning you can really read a document in a practical manner
- This service grade accepts Windows-ready PowerPoint, Word, RTF, TIFF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF files with a valid file name extension, up to ten megabytes per file, up to two attachments per e-mail, and up to fifty megabytes per day, and processes the first twenty pages / slides of each submission (please see our other service grades for different feature levels)
- Supports web client users, and BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) users with MDS
- Quick, truly rendered viewing of e-mail attachments at four zoom levels (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) plus thumbnails
- Also provides thumbnails which are ready to be used on your device's desktop or as the screensaver, even resizing the image to ensure that the date/time strength meter won't cover the image
- Read documents on-the-go like the way they were meant to be seen
- Document retrieval password protection can be defined
- Processed documents can be marked for deletion
- Convenient PC browser administration interface so that you can tailor your exact settings, if desired
- Available for all color BlackBerry models
- Your BlackBerry must have a browser and active data service
- Verizon 7250 and 7750 users must have BB OS 4.0 in order to have a browser icon - OS upgrade is available cost-free at vzw.smithmicro.com/blackberry
- Reqwireless WebViewer is not supported
