What is This? is a simple and useful shell extension. It enables you to easily store and review file descriptions. WIT is easy to use. Simply click right mouse button to activate context menu for a file and then select the What is This? menu item. You can do this from Explorer, Desktop, or even from standard Open Dialog windows. If the selected file has an entry in Wit's database, then Wit will show the associated description. Wit's database can be searched for strings and each file description can be edited or deleted. You can even change Wit's font size and colors. Wit preview JPEG files and autoextracts descriptions from archived files. Take control of your files, use What is This? !
